Civil Materials Laboratory Cadet – Taupo Laboratory

We’re looking for a motivated Cadet or junior Technician to join our Taupo Laboratory team. This is an entry‑level opportunity, and no previous laboratory experience is required – we’ll provide full training. You’ll be physically capable, enjoy hands‑on work, and have an interest in pursuing a career as a Civil Materials Laboratory Technician. You’ll also be comfortable with basic data entry and flexible to work occasional overtime when needed.

In this role, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects across both laboratory and field environments, supporting work that helps shape the future of our communities.

About You

• Experience in labour or trades‑based roles (e.g. construction, roading, warehousing, farming) is advantageous
