Laboratory Aide - Intern (SOM, Pediatric Stanley Neurovirology) - #Staff

School of Medicine, Pediatric Stanley Neurovirology is seeking a **_Laboratory Aide_** (Intern) to carry out experiments under close supervision of a faculty investigator, senior technician, or postdoctoral fellow in a laboratory and follow routine protocols under close supervision.

**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Use basic science knowledge to learn techniques and methods of the lab.
+ Perform laboratory tests and/or experiments following established procedures or protocols.
+ Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
+ Develop a basic tracking database/spreadsheet based on study requirements utilizing Excel, Access, or similar software applications.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records, present data summaries, identify and resolve common problems, and use basic analytical skills to implement assigned projects.
