Our client, a Paint Manufacturing company, is looking for a Lab Technician for their Garland, TX location. Responsibilities:
+ Previous lab or manufacturing/industrial experience is required.
+ Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids.
+ Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards.
+ Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.
+ Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.
+ Lab Tech performs basic technical tests on products and samples.
+ Primary responsibility will be preparing, filling, and shipping color panel requests.
+ Other responsibilities may include preparing and analyzing materials and samples, performing basic calculations, and cleaning and maintaining the lab.
