The Paste Plant Lab Technician will report to the Operations Coordinator, responsible for technical support and ensuring the accuracy of paste backfill prints. Candidates should have a diploma in Mining or Mineral Technology or five years of underground mine experience. Strong mathematical and scientific skills are required, especially in geology and chemistry, to facilitate efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create paste backfill prints and plans
• Monitor QA/QC compliance for paste systems
• Support underground and surface paste backfill needs
• Develop accurate scheduling for tasks
• Analyze and interpret mining data for quality assurance
