Job Title: Lab Technician I
Location: Groton, CT

Compensation: $23.71

Responsibilities
+ Support study set up to prepare for necropsy and histology portions of non GLP and GLP studies.
+ Train to fully support necropsy and histology techniques as outlined in SOPs and directed by study protocols.
+ Communicate with the pathologist and laboratory manager to ensure proper collection, handling, and submission of specimens, including chain of custody forms for outsourced work.
+ Ensure proper use and preventative maintenance of equipment and laboratory space.
+ Maintain full traceability of work and specimens.
Requirements
+ HS degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience OR A.S Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
+ Good Laboratory Practice Proficiency.
