Lab Patient Technician (St. Thomas)

Overview

Life Labs Medical Laboratory Services is a Canadian company dedicated to improving patient healthcare outcomes through laboratory testing. We are seeking a part‑time Lab Patient Technician to join our team in St Thomas, ON.

Working Hours & Location

• Monday–Friday: 6:45am – 4:15pm (St Thomas location)
• Saturday rotation may be required if operationally necessary
• Estimated up to 20 hours of scheduled shifts per week

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, request required information, and explain the specimen collection process.
• Ensure patients have followed the necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect Holter monitors, and conduct ECG tracings.
• Execute special test collections (e.g., medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, clinical trials) and complete related documentation.
