Lab Patient Technician

Position type: Part Time Regular (Float).

Schedule: Various, Monday - Saturday with one Sunday shift per month.

Additional requirements: This is a float position covering Brampton, Mississauga, and Etobicoke. The employee must have a valid driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and be able to travel between all three locations.

Role requires availability from Monday to Saturday, with approximately one Sunday shift per month. Candidates must be flexible to work all shifts, including mornings and afternoons. Relevant experience is required.

Number of positions: 1.

Start date: ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Greet and request required information from patients, explain the specimen collection process, and ensure patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
• Perform phlebotomies, connect/disconnect holter monitors, and perform ECG tracings.
