Lab Mechanic: CAD/CAM CNC & Equipment Specialist

The Laboratory Mechanic at NIU supports faculty, students and staff by building, repairing and maintaining research and instructional equipment across the Liberal Arts and Sciences. You will fabricate parts, operate and service lab machinery, and keep the machine shop organized and safe.

This role requires high school diploma and relevant apprenticeship or four years of related experience, plus knowledge of CAD/CAM tools, welding and basic electronics.
