Responsibilities :
Clean and maintain the lab environment, including common areas, equipment, and glassware.
Adhere to a prescribed schedule for cleaning tissue culture rooms, including hoods, incubators, and water baths.
Handle biohazard and chemical waste according to OSHA standards.
Monitor and maintain compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) requirements, serving as the point of contact with the EHS team.
Support EHS activities, including green lab certification and freezer challenges. Inventory and Supply Management: Monitor inventory of lab reagents and supplies; purchase as appropriate.
Manage stockroom operations, including the maintenance of glassware and autoclaving.
Prepare, restock, and maintain a variety of lab supplies, including pipette tips, media/buffers, and stock solutions.
