Lab Analyst - Part Time

We are seeking a Wastewater Treatment Laboratory Analyst on a part time basis. This role supports the efficient operation and regulatory compliance of a number of EPSWWTPs by carrying out laboratory testing and analysis of wastewater, sludge, and final effluent. The role ensures accurate monitoring of treatment performance in line with EPA discharge licence requirements and EPS operational standards. Key Responsibilities Sampling & Analysis Collect representative samples from influent, process streams, sludge, and final effluent Carry out routine laboratory testing including: pH, COD, BOD Suspended solids (TSS) Ammonia, nitrates, and phosphorus Settleability and sludge characteristics Ensure correct sample preservation, storage, and chain of custody Laboratory Operations Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, incubators, and balances Calibrate instruments in accordance with SOPs and QA requirements Prepare reagents, standards, and media for tes...
