L1 - System Engineer

The L1 System Engineer is responsible for:

• Provide 24x7 support for Data Center running on 12 hour shifts
• Assist the Customer in verification, isolation and provision of a temporary workaround for the incident/problem logged
• Resolve the incident/problem onsite
• Escalate unsolvable problems and service requests to the System and/or Software Engineer and report the escalation to the Project Manager
• Generate the relevant administrative records and reports
• Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Add, remove, or update user account information and reset passwords
• Answer technical queries
• Maintain the configuration of the system
• Implement Service Request and Change Request
• Contact OEM/Vendor for technical support
