Kitchen Assistant
Location: Green Gates Care Home, 2 Hernes Road, Summertown, Oxford OX2 7PT
Contract: Permanent – Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week – Working 4 days per week including alternate weekends
Salary: £13.10 to £14.10 per hour dependent on experience
CQC rating: Good

Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents
- Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and keep preparation areas clean and tidy
- Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures, and follow mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines
- Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
