The role of akaiako is to teach tauira the Work Readiness Building and Construction TrainingScheme (level 2). Teaching involves but is not limited to developing lessonplans, presenting learning materials to tauira, responding to tauira learningneeds, and evaluating tauira progress.

Role : Fixed Term– Full Time
Duration : Until December 2026
Location : Whakatane
Hours : 37.5 per week
Days : Monday – Sunday
Salary : $66,997 - $83,747 pro rata
