Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Junior to Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer specializing in surface water assessments and mitigations for linear infrastructure projects to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and leadership on projects and for staff, including performing technical analyses where appropriate.
• Provide support in coordination, preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports, progress reports, project scheduling / resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets on projects.
• Scoping projects and assisting in the preparation of proposals.
• Working with independent subject matter experts to complete hydrotechnical assessments and mitigations, often as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Support mentoring, coaching, and training of staff.
• Help promote Thurber mission, vision, and values amongst Thurber staff.
