Junior sous chef – simbambili game lodge

As our Junior Sous Chef , you will work with the Head Chef & Sous Chef at Simbambili Game Lodge to deliver a 5-star memorable dining experience to our guests, while actively participating in food preparation, kitchen operations, and team supervision. What you will be doing Take responsibility for various kitchen sections including but not limited to hot, cold and prep kitchens Ensure all stations are fully prepared and stocked before and during service Ensure efficient and smooth running of all meal services including bush dining experiences Ensure proper food rotation (FIFO), labelling, and storage practices Assist with stock control, monitoring, ordering and receiving of deliveries Assist in minimizing food waste and supporting budget control initiatives Assist with menu execution and adapting dishes to meet dietary requirements Enforce food hygiene & safety standards at all times Soft Skills A passion for food A passion for c...
