Location: Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Hutt Valley Hospital (Service: Plastic Surgery & Burns). Contract: 12 months Fixed Term. Salary: As per relevant RMO MECA.
About the Role
The Wellington Regional Plastic Maxillo‑Facial and Burn Unit is seeking a junior/developmental plastic surgery fellow to join our service for one year, starting early 2027. You will work alongside a medical team comprising around 12 plastic surgery consultants and 12 junior doctors of varying grades.
Responsibilities
You will be rostered to a mix of acute and elective operating under both general and local anaesthetic, review patients in the emergency and outpatient departments, and participate in some clinics. Depending on your level of competency, you will participate in either the senior or junior registrar after‑hours roster.
