Junior Engineer

We are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering and technical services company for a Junior Engineer to support the Contracts Engineer and broader engineering team on Cape Town–based projects. This is an entry-level role designed to develop the successful candidate through hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance, with the aim of progressing into a position of greater responsibility within the engineering department. Reports to the Contracts Engineer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Contract management (70%): assist the Contracts Engineer with contract-related tasks; draft layouts, P&IDs, and project drawings; manage smaller day-to-day tasks; collate and maintain project documentation and SOPs; collect and integrate site reports; compile final data packs; support quality control and logistics; collaborate with cross-functional teams
