Junior accountant

RPO Recruitment is partnering with a leading mining company in Johannesburg to find a talented Junior Accountant to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities Full accounts receivable cycle (including local & export sales, export documentation, debtors’ reconciliation, traffic workbook updates, letter of credit checks, etc.) Full accounts payable cycle, including cash flow forecasting, VAT and diesel refunds, SARB submissions, cashbook processing and banking functions Invoicing Submit local sale invoices aligned with signed contracts Check and confirm accuracy of export invoices against signed contracts Prepare and review monthly debtor statements Payments Follow up to ensure payments received within debtor terms and communicate exceptions Submit required documentation to banks for incoming funds clearance (UCR Number) Process all receipts from debtors into SAGE 300 Prepare weekly cash‑flow forecast of expected payments VAT, Diesel Refunds and SARS Audits Compile, reco...
