Judicial Clerk / Senior Judicial Clerk

Location: St. Paul and Vermilion, Alberta

Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Overtime may be required.

Classification: Judicial Clerk / Senior Judicial Clerk (Permanent, Temporary and Wage)

Salary Range: Judicial Clerk $2,090.70 – $2,645.40 bi‑weekly ($54,567 – $69,044 per year) or $28.84 – $36.49 hourly. Senior Judicial Clerk $2,308.09 – $2,920.47 bi‑weekly ($60,241 – $76,224 per year) or $31.84 – $40.28 hourly.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative processes in civil and criminal court proceedings.
• Maintain court records and decorum, operating the digital recording system.
• Handle exhibits, liaise with judiciary, lawyers, police, and the public.
• File documents in line with Alberta Rules of Court and relevant statutes.
