Jr. Geologist

Job Summary

Imerys is seeking a site-based Junior Geologist to join our Willsboro, NY team. This role will support Ore QA/QC, active drilling campaigns, site-based geological data management, and short-term mine planning, while playing a critical role in environmental compliance and operational data support. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to both surface and underground operations, assisting in the transition of mining methods from Surface to underground and the maintenance of essential site systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ore Control: Provide in-pit grade control and laboratory QA/QC to ensure that ore shipments meet quality standards.

• Geological & Drilling Support: Support diamond drilling and blast hole sampling campaigns by assisting senior technical staff with logging core/cutting, contractor management, drillhole planning, database managemen...
