Journeyman Welder (Lewisporte)

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricating and welding (SMAW) of tank components to the highest industry standards
• Out of position welding (SMAW)
• Reading and understanding drawings and blueprints
• Use of various tools and equipment under supervision (grinders, hydraulic jacks, etc.)
• General work with steel (grinding, buffing, oxy‑acetylene use, etc.)
• Participate in all daily toolbox and safety meetings
• Work with the team to ensure a quality product is delivered
• Must be physically fit and able to safely lift 50 lbs
