**Journey Level Marine Industrial Painter**
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring experienced Journey Level Marine Industrial Painters to support one of the West Coast's premier ship repair and marine maintenance facilities. If you have experience with industrial coatings, surface preparation, and marine painting, this is an excellent opportunity to work on commercial and government vessels while enjoying weekly pay, health insurance, and flexible scheduling.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Prepare steel and aluminum surfaces through abrasive blasting, grinding, sanding, and power tool cleaning.
+ Fill cracks and imperfections and apply primers and sealers to prepared surfaces.
+ Apply industrial and marine coating systems using brush, roller, conventional spray, and airless spray equipment.
+ Mix coatings and colors to manufacturer specifications for proper finish and durability.
+ Perform hull, topside, structural steel, and tank painting.
