A Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Houston, TX, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement with potential for direct hire. This role is based in a sterile compounding pharmacy focusing on wellness medications, working closely with a dedicated team of two pharmacists and two technicians.
Responsibilities include preparing sterile compounds with strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, managing compounding volumes of approximately 2,000 vials weekly, and maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the process. The schedule generally involves full-time hours with 4x10 shifts, which may vary according to the volume of compounding needed. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
