The Manager – Operating System Support (AS/400)

Ensures IT service availability and minimizes the AIA’s business impact of IT service outages through effective management. Contributes to the improvement of user satisfaction with IT services by ensuring that the arrangements remain aligned with business needs and priorities and fit for purpose.

Roles and Responsibilities

AS/400 OS Management

• Deploy, configure, and maintain of AS/400 operating system across the organization.
• Ensure stability, security, and performance of AS/400 servers and endpoints.

Incident & Problem Management

• Manage AS/400 OS-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Patch & Update Management

• Deploy patching to ensure all AS/400 systems are up-to-date and secure.
