Inventory Cost Accountant

Job Description: Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Manage the return of stock from customer sites, ensuring that discrepancies are investigated, resolved, or confirmed to be within acceptable thresholds Ensure all stock return transactions are processed accurately and timeously in the relevant systems Own and coordinate the end-to-end returns process across departments, working with stakeholders to ensure all related tickets and queries are investigated and closed within agreed timelines Report on returns variances at job and contractor level, identifying trends, exceptions, and areas requiring management attention Manage contractor boot stock by obtaining monthly stock confirmations, reconciling physical stock to system records, investigating variances, and processing appropriate adjustments in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting docume...
