Inventory Control Auditor

Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for an Inventory Control Auditor to sit fully onsite in Middle River, MD. The Inventory Control Auditor will serve as the final step in the inventory counting and auditing process, ensuring inventory accuracy across production, warehouse, stockroom, and freezer locations. In this role, you will conduct blind inventory counts and compare findings against SAP records, investigating discrepancies through detailed root cause analysis to determine why adjustments are needed. This includes identifying issues such as over-issued parts, receiving errors, processing discrepancies, and inaccurate inventory transactions. You will partner closely with inventory, warehouse, and production teams to resolve variances and improve overall inventory accuracy while utilizing SAP to review transactions, validate data, and document findings.
