Internist for High Acuity Unit

Join Eagle Ridge Hospital as an internist in the dedicated High Acuity Unit. This role emphasizes both clinical management and quality education within a collaborative healthcare environment.
As a general internist in the Department of Medicine, you'll manage 3-5 new complex patients daily and round on 12-15 patients. You'll work closely with an established team of physicians and integrate with the hospitalist service, handling patient care for the IM Rapid Access Clinic. This position is well-suited for a candidate with critical-care proficiency and a passion for teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct new consults and MRP rounding for inpatients
• Provide care in the Monitored Care Unit and cover telemetry
• Staff the IM Rapid Access Clinic efficiently
