Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease Physician

The Department of Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician with an interest in academic medicine to join their team. The successful candidate will be board certified or board eligible in infectious disease and will be given an academic appointment that will be commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time role in adult infectious disease working inpatient consultation with one half clinic day per week.

Additional position details:

• Interest/experience in hospital epidemiology is helpful

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of infectious conditions, including, but not limited to:

• Sepsis and bloodstream infections
• Endocarditis
• Osteomyelitis and prosthetic joint infections
• Complex skin and soft tissue infections
• Healthcare-associated and multidrug-resistant infections
