Jack and Sons, Inc. is searching for an Engineering Intern for our Seattle, WA location. As an Intern, you will foster a positive safety culture while supporting the production team with compliance, regulations and projects within a / aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.


Arcosa Specialty Materials is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.


What You Will Do:

  • Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical manufacturing and maintenance processes, including safety requirements, work instructions, and supporting documentation.

  • Observe plant operations and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel to capture best practices and process knowledge.
