Intermediate Underwriter - National Accounts

Position Details

What You Will Do

• Provide underwriting exceptions to specialty line guidelines when necessary while maintaining a profitable portfolio
• Revising existing underwriting guidelines and/or establishing new underwriting guideline while ensuring its within the organization’s risk appetite
• Conduct audits and generate audit reports
• Maintain in-force policies and ensure all policies are issued within service standards with the appropriate wordings, schedules, and certificates attached
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with MGAs by providing exceptional customer service
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering telephone inquiries, making outgoing calls, respond to emails and/or faxes as may be required
• Track and produce daily, weekly and monthly production activity reports
• Assist in monthly business activity reporting
