Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer

Location: Markham, Ontario (consideration for other Ontario locations). Role within Water Resources Technical Team within Stantec Environmental Services Business Line.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hydrodynamic models using MIKE 3, MIKE21 and Telemac to support coastal and river engineering projects, including environmental impact assessments, remedial designs and risk evaluations.
• Apply hydrologic and hydraulic principles, with proficiency in HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS and PCSWMM.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical findings and interpretations.
• Support proposal development and assist in creating work plans, project schedules and budgets, while managing assigned projects and tasks.
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a cohesive and productive work workplace.
