Intermediate Financial Accountant HVC

Contribute to financial integrity at Highland Valley Copper (HVC) as an Intermediate Financial Accountant in Logan Lake, BC. This full-time on-site role calls for expertise in IFRS and SOX compliance.
As part of Teck’s finance team, you will manage general ledger accuracy, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies. Your role includes performing account reconciliations, documenting compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and leading month-end closure. With a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll collaborate across departments to enhance financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and approve month-end journal entries
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare financial reporting packages for Corporate
