Position Overview

The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for an academic support position as a Civil Engineering (CE) instructor. The rank will be open depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Support NYU Abu Dhabi’s educational mission by assisting faculty with engineering.
• Serve as a CE instructor expected to have extensive knowledge in courses such as Solid Mechanics, Probability and Statistics, Structural Analysis, Transportation Engineering, Numerical Methods, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
• Teach discussion sections, hold review sessions, and provide assistance with course preparation, development, and assessment.
• Participate in departmental activities and professional development opportunities such as conferences.
