INSPECTOR GENERAL SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a INSPECTOR GENERAL (IG) SPECIALIST in the Office of the Inspector General (IG) of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will review, analyze, investigate, and report on external or internal concerns relating to alleged improprieties by DON civilian or military personnel including alleged fraud, waste, abuse, and/pr mismanagement (FWAM) of government resources. You will serve as the Deputy Chief Inspector, facilitating the inspection process from event planning to pre-inspection command risk analysis, inspection execution, results analysis, report development, and briefing of the final inspection report. You will research, review, and report the effectiveness of operations, procedures, and management controls, and provide recommendations to leadership for corrective action by management.
