InSite Technician for Clean Harbors in Victoria

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Technician in Victoria, B.C. to assist with HHW Programs. Help ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste materials at client sites.
In this critical role, you will package and consolidate both hazardous and non-hazardous waste while adhering to rigorous safety standards. You'll support operations as a Waste Technician and interact with customers to facilitate safe waste disposal practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold safety as the top priority in all tasks
• Perform waste handling activities on-site
• Conduct inspections for cleanliness and compliance
• Sort and pack Household Hazardous Waste items
• Educate customers on safe waste disposal methods
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Experience with Household Hazardous Waste is beneficial
• Ability to operate forklifts safely in various environments
• Strong capability for physical labor, including heavy lifting
