Industry Assistant Professor, General Engineering

NYU Tandon School of Engineering (https://engineering.nyu.edu/) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenured, renewable faculty position in General Engineering, at the level of Industry Assistant Professor, with a start date of August 17, 2026. This appointment will be for three academic years.

The instructor’s primary responsibility will be teaching sections of EG-UY 1004 Introduction to Engineering and Design. A cornerstone design course, EG-UY 1004 introduces students to the engineering design process through the completion of an open-ended semester-long design project. This course is a 4-credit course that consists of weekly lectures, labs, and recitation components and is team-taught by a group of faculty and undergraduate peer mentors.
