Industrial Engineering Manager

Job Description
A lead defense contractor sitting in Simi Valley, CA is looking to hire an onsite Lean Manager of Industrial Engineering that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing systems and workflows, while leading Lean transformation initiatives. This person will be supporting (3) different manufacturing sites in Simi Valley, Salt Lake City, UT and Huntsville, AL which will require some travel (quarterly). This person will be responsible for material optimization flow lines, laying out new facilities, process improvements, work bench stations, setting up lean lines, etc. The production volume across their business unit ranges between 1500-1800 units/month for 4 production lines. They're looking for this manager to lead a team of (8) Industrial Engineers both in-person and remotely.
