Overview
Job title: Industrial Engineer - Trim & Final
Location: Gaydon & Halewood, UK
Mode: Hybrid (4 Days a week)
Mode of employment: Fixed Term Employment (12 Months)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers as part of the Trim and Final area providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Lean process planning and improvements, cost reduction & elimination of waste (NVAs) to improve competitiveness
- VSM analysis to assess the efficiency & effectiveness of current operations & ideate new future state
- Study the ergonomics & eliminate the professional hazard for workmen & improve the productivity
- Process improvement, Poka yoke, cycle time & rework reduction
- Identify opportunities in Labor Productivity, automation, standardization & lead time reduction
- Time study using observations, PMTS tools & Multimodel line balancing to determine manpower requirements
