Job Summary
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity, managing labor resources, and supporting automation programs. This role plays a key part in aligning operational capacity with demand fluctuations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and service level compliance.
Location & Reporting
Reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead in Monterrey, Mexico.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Support Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen programs.
- Maintain time studies, standard work, and line balancing.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement actions to improve throughput and capacity.
- Develop and control headcount plans in consideration of production demand.
- Monitor and adjust labor capacity versus demand fluctuations.
