Industrial Electrician

The Industrial Electrician at Canadian Tire's Distribution Centre in Bolton, ON is responsible for achieving department and customer operation goals, ensuring ongoing equipment reliability and uptime through preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting, analysis, and equipment upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, working in a safe and effective manner
• Perform service and preventative maintenance on all equipment within the DC
• Respond to all equipment breakdowns in a timely manner based on priority systems
• Maintain accurate parts and work order records in computerized maintenance system (Maximo)
• Perform repairs with minimal supervision and make decisions to see the job to completion
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using electrical schematics, PCs, panel layouts, or manufacturer specifications
