Shape Indigenous partnerships with the City of Regina as a Senior Advisor in Indigenous Relations. Foster relationships and provide strategic recommendations for community development and governance.
This term position reports directly to the Director of Indigenous Relations. As a senior advisor, you will support and enhance relations with Indigenous peoples and communities by delivering vital programs and services. Your role involves conducting research, providing strategic insight, and advising on policy matters that affect Indigenous relations within municipal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify risks and develop strategic recommendations
• Create briefing notes and position papers for leadership
• Advise senior leaders on Indigenous community priorities
• Meet with stakeholders to gather insights and build relationships
• Liaise with Indigenous organizations and government levels
Requirements:
• Deep knowledge of Indigenous challenges in Regina
