Import Freight Operator

Freight Operator – Ipswich

Our client, a freight forwarder, is looking for a Freight Operator to join their office in Ipswich.

Key responsibilities and qualifications:

• Import experience handling from quoting stage through to delivery and billing – training available.
• Experience exporting (90% of work is imports, export training can be provided).
• Full‐time schedule 09:00‑17:30 with salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
• Operations Clerk duties: import and export via air, sea and road.
• Customs compliance required – CDS.
• Cargowise experience preferred.
• Exports training available if no previous experience; imports sea freight experience is mandatory.
