Imaging Services Assistant

**Overview**

**Part Time Shift: Saturday & Sunday 7A-7:30P**

**Description**

Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Radiologic Technologist, including but not limited to:

+ Cleaning the patients room, operating various equipment, helping with emergencies and assisting with patient flow.
+ Prepares room to receive patient; sets up necessary equipment and ensures neatness and cleanliness of room.
+ May assist with preparing patients for procedures.
+ Supports cost efficient/effective delivery of care.
+ Participates in department based and hospital-wide Continuous Quality Improvement.
+ Responds immediately to emergency patient situations; initiates emergency life-saving techniques such as CPR using high quality resuscitation Basic Life Support.
+ Required to complete MRI Safety training, follow safety measures when transporting patients to and from MRI, and have knowledge o...
