- Ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers.
- Make the department fast and efficient for customers, and cost‑effective for the IKEA store.
- Handle customers’ issues efficiently and with empathy.
- Actively work towards fulfilling the four tasks of the store.
- Ensure checkout is effectively equipped at all times, ready and available to help customers when needed.
- Have the knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy.
- Know levels of authorisation to solve payment problems; recognise when to escalated issues to someone with higher authorisation and pass relevant information to them.
- Offer solutions to frequently asked questions to improve the future shopping experience for everyone.
