  • Ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers.
  • Make the department fast and efficient for customers, and cost‑effective for the IKEA store.
  • Handle customers’ issues efficiently and with empathy.
  • Actively work towards fulfilling the four tasks of the store.
  • Ensure checkout is effectively equipped at all times, ready and available to help customers when needed.
  • Have the knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy.
  • Know levels of authorisation to solve payment problems; recognise when to escalated issues to someone with higher authorisation and pass relevant information to them.
  • Offer solutions to frequently asked questions to improve the future shopping experience for everyone.
