Hydraulic Service Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician to join our Rotorua based team. This hands‑on role involves the manufacture, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of hydraulic and mechanical systems, both on customer sites and in the workshop.

You will work across a range of hydraulic equipment and systems, delivering high quality technical solutions while maintaining strong safety and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair hydraulic and mechanical systems and components
• Repair, assemble, test and commission hydraulic equipment
• Fault find hydraulic systems with or without schematics
• Read and interpret hydraulic and engineering drawings, including open and closed loop systems
• Manufacture and install hydraulic hoses, pipes and tubing, ensuring correct sizing, flow capacity and compatibility
