JOB PURPOSE
The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance, routine service tasks, and assisting Senior HVAC Technicians with repairs, diagnostics, and system work. This role is designed for a technician who is developing their technical skill set and understands the importance of consistency, documentation, safety, and professionalism. The position plays a critical role in maintaining system reliability, extending equipment life, and supporting efficient service operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial and light industrial HVAC systems in accordance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Complete inspections, cleanings, filter replacements, belt adjustments, lubrication, and basic operational checks
- Identify and document visible deficiencies, abnormal operation, and potential failure risks
