HUMAN RIGHTS OFFICER/CHILD RIGHTS ADVISER (TJO) - OHCHR, Grade: P-4, Location: Geneva, Switzerland, Application deadline: 22 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Conducts prompt, thorough, independent and impartial investigations of alleged violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law, including interviews with children, victims and witnesses employing child and gender‑sensitive interviewing techniques.
• Acts as adviser to the inquiries branch and supported investigative bodies on child protection issues, ensuring that all are aware of relevant child rights violations, their gender dimensions, and issues related to gender‑based violence.
• Supports the work of investigative bodies and extra‑conventional mechanisms and special procedures.
