HSE Officer

Role Overview

The HSE Officer will be responsible for supporting the HSE Manager in the implementation of the Project HSE Plan. This includes conducting routine site inspections and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, as well as delivering HSE inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions. The role involves monitoring compliance with project HSE requirements including PPE usage and Permit-to-Work procedures. The HSE Officer will assist in preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements and JSA reviews. Responsibilities also include reporting and investigating incidents, near misses and environmental events, and maintaining HSE records such as inspection reports, training records and safety statistics. The position requires coordinating emergency drills and supporting environmental compliance activities, ensuring subcontractors comply with project HSE requirements and promoting a positive safety culture to support the project’s Zero Harm objectives.
