Hse & facilities lead

A well-established manufacturing business in Cape Town is seeking an experienced HSE & Facilities Lead. This is a broad, site-facing role for someone who takes ownership of health, safety and environmental compliance while keeping facilities and infrastructure running reliably.

The environment is male-dominated and contractor-heavy. You will be firm, fair and confident managing people at all levels. The role includes direct oversight of a Facilities Coordinator.

Minimum Requirements Diploma or degree in OHS, Environmental Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field — HSE certification (NEBOSH, SAMTRAC or equivalent) is an advantage, and having both is preferred Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial or facilities environment Sound working knowledge of the OHS Act; ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 used as a benchmark Proven facilities management, maintenance coordination and contractor management experience Familiarity with CMMS or EHS ...
