Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the Project HSE Plan in line with company and client requirements.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations during substation construction and modification works, busbar protection system replacements, relay modifications, cable laying termination and testing, and overhead transmission line works if applicable.
- Prepare and review risk assessments (HIRA), method statements, and permit to work (PTW) documentation.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and safety awareness programs.
- Monitor high‑risk activities including energized electrical works, shutdown activities, excavation and deep trenching, lifting operations, and confined space entry.
- Carry out routine site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with TAQA, TRANSCO, ADNOC standards.
